10 Things Your Tax Preparer Won’t Tell You
Should you do your own taxes? I personally think that taxes are not all that difficult, except once when I had a bunch of stock sales that I had to calculate. But guess what? It turns out that those paid tax “experts” make more mistakes - or just as many mistakes - as we do. In fact according to this list of 10 Things Your Tax Preparer Won’t Tell You, people who do their own taxes make less mistakes. But the other big bombshell here is that the IRS does not audit many people. My policy is to just do your taxes as accurately as possible and you should be okay.

It’s a great topic considering it’s tax time. I did my tax using a software but I think it’s always good to know some basics about income tax. I learn quite a lot from this website http://www.workfromhomefreetaxhelp.com where you find great topics in easy to understand language.
