About Rook and Rook’s Money Blog

Rook’s Money Blog is written by me, Rook Davis, head dude of Rook Financial Group, an organization which invests in various ventures, such as real estate, personal lending and equities.

Believe me, I’ve been there - I’ve been broke and at one time I worked two jobs, both at minimum wage. I didn’t even know how to open a bank account. It seems so simple to me now, but back then I had no idea. Now that I no longer work paycheck to paycheck, own some stocks and real estate and have a retirement account, I understand money a lot better than when I was younger. I also grew up in a tough, impoverished neighborhood so I grew up surrounded by con artists, gangsters and bums. I have a low tolerance for scams, because they usually target people who can’t afford to lose money.

So I want to help other people get a leg up if I can, and this seems like a good way to do it. Of course, nothing in this blog is considered an offering og legal advice or financial advice, and if you should always consult with a qualified professional about such matters.
